Trips and Visits
Link: ESF Trips and Visits Consent Form - All students are required to have a completed ESF Consent form which covers any trips they attend during their whole time at the Academy. Consent can also be granted via the MCAS app, under the parental consent section.
Important notice regarding booking and paying for trips
We are increasingly finding that parents/carers are booking a place for their child to attend a trip but then failing to make any payment. As a result, this is preventing other parents/carers from booking a place and their children are missing out on a great experience/opportunity.
From this academic year, future payments are via Evolve. At the time and date stated on the trip letter, you will receive an email containing a link to book a place. After completing the booking form, you will be brought to the payment stage. There will be a window of 10 minutes from the time of booking to make payment for the trip. If payment is not completed within this time period the booking will automatically be cancelled. If you do not secure a place on the trip, you will be invited to add your child to the waiting list (payment will not be taken at this point). Your place is confirmed if payment is received successfully, you will not receive any separate messages from school to confirm the booking.
In the event of your child being unable to go on a trip/visit for any reason (including change of schools, student behaviour/attendance, or a medical/personal issue), a refund will only be made if a replacement can be found from the waiting list (see trips and visits Terms and Conditions for details) ; however, if a replacement cannot be found the Academy will not be able to make a refund. Therefore, before committing to a trip/visit by booking and making a payment, please be certain that your child wishes to attend the trip/visit.
Thank you, we appreciate your support
