Leadership Training

As part of their study programme all students are expected to engage in a leadership responsibility. We encourage this to make students stand out when approaching their next destination and our students tell us that it is often the difference when applying for University, apprenticeships or employment. These leadership responsibilities vary from being a senior prefect such as head boy, head girl or house captain through to sports leaders, departmental representatives, and being reading buddies at our feeder primary schools.

You may also have the opportunity to go on one of our many extra-curricular visits. Your tutor will support you in finding a responsibility and ensuring you are fully trained, and we also take feedback from your leadership mentor on your progress and this really helps us write references for UCAS, apprenticeships and employment.

Most importantly taking on a leadership role at Trinity Sixth Form builds character and makes our students stand out in a competitive labour market.
